Astone Ultra Mobile Personal Computer
Posted on Sunday, December 28, 2008
At these moment almost everything in the shop looks cheap (bonus kali a), however there was a new ultra cheap notebook in town which interest me and have bought one for my self, okay here's the spec
The Astone UMPC with 60GB Hard disk drive, which weighs less than a kilo (0.97Kg.), boast a bright 7" inch LCD monitor with touch screen feature, 1Gb ram DDr2, built in Bluetooth, 4-in-1 (for SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro) card reader, Wi Fi!!, microphone, speaker, web cam and VIA technologies for sound and graphic card and 5 hours battery usage!
ALL THAT for $488 Brunei Dollar!
However, I do notice that the Astone is a little sluggish in loading applications, particularly upon start up, and I couldn’t help but attribute it, rightly or wrongly, to its non-Intel microprocessor (Astone uses VIA C-7 M processor the same as HP 2133 MINI NOTE BOOK with the price of $1000 would you go for that?). Is it bad enough to declare the Astone a loser? Not really. If you have been used to supped-up or high-end computing devices then you may complain. Otherwise, you just shrug it off. After all, you may need the extra minute or two to prepare coffee or better yet, chat (the face-to-face kind, that is) with that cute and voluptuous new officemate a few cubicles away.

Actually we heard of this 'perpindahan' some time 5 years ago, and today while me and my family got nothing to do, so we decide to scout the area and what a surprise, there it was around 60 'perpindahan type houses' and while on our way back there's a label for the area and it was actually SKIM PENEMPATAN SEMULA PENDUDUK KAMPUNG AIR.
